The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of geotechnical projects. This position involves working closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure the stability and safety of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a solid understanding of geotechnical principles.Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee technicians with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparationCoordinate and review laboratory testingComplete accurate geotechnical exploration reportsPerform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study from an ABET accredited universityP.E. or other professional licensure is preferred4 to 7 years of relevant experienceValid driver's license and good driving recordEnjoy working outdoorsNICET, ACI and/or other certifications desiredStrong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving in complex engineering scenarios.
