Call The Exodus is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to take full ownership of its Instagram presence and drive consistent, high-quality engagement for a student-led journal focused on law, economics, and geopolitics. Key Responsibilities Manage all Instagram activity (posts, reels, stories, highlights) Plan and maintain a structured content calendar aligned with editorial releases Convert long-form articles into engaging carousels, reels, and short-form content Ensure visual consistency, captions, and brand tone Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and refine strategy Adapt trends to suit an academic and intellectually driven audience What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of Instagram content and growth strategy Relevant experience in social media management, content creation, or audience growth Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging content Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Figma Consistency, ownership, and attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a student-led, student-managed structure Best Fits for This Role Students with prior experience managing pages, building engagement, or creating digital content Individuals who understand reels, trends, audience behaviour, and platform analytics Candidates capable of independently handling a brand’s online presence Professionals or early-career individuals with relevant social media marketing experience who are willing to contribute pro bono within a student-led organisation where students retain full creative and strategic control Compensation This is a volunteer, unpaid role.
