UI/UX Developer Palakkad, Kerala (On-site) About Revin Revin is an award-winning, IIT Palakkad–incubated agritech startup building climate-smart, data-driven solutions for farmers and agricultural communities. We design intelligent sensing, automation, and traceability systems that empower farmers to make precise decisions and improve profitability. Position Overview We are seeking a creative, detail-orientated, and user-focused UI/UX Developer to join our product and engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, scalable, and engaging digital experiences across Revin’s web and mobile platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, gamified user engagement, and modern interface design practices. The candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, AI teams, and domain experts to create seamless user journeys and highly interactive digital products.

Key Responsibilities User Experience & Research Conduct user research, usability studies, and workflow analysis to understand user behaviour and product requirements.

Develop user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and information architecture. Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences. Design mobile-first and responsive experiences for diverse user groups.

UI Design & Prototyping Design clean, modern, and scalable interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create interactive prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms. Develop and maintain consistent design systems and reusable UI components.

Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and branding across products. Interaction Design & Engagement Design engaging user flows with a strong emphasis on usability and accessibility. Incorporate gamified UX concepts, onboarding experiences, and engagement-focused interactions where appropriate.

Create intuitive micro-interactions, transitions, and motion elements that improve overall user experience. Apply behavioural design principles to improve product adoption, retention, and user engagement. Motion Design Design motion-based interactions and animations to enhance usability and visual communication.

Work on interaction states, transitions, loading behaviours, and responsive feedback systems. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure accurate implementation of animations and interactions. Data Visualization & Dashboard Design Design intuitive dashboards and data visualisation interfaces for analytics-driven applications.

Simplify complex datasets into easy-to-understand and actionable visual experiences. Ensure smooth interaction flows for data-heavy and real-time interfaces. Collaboration & Iteration Work closely with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative product discussions. Iterate designs based on feedback, analytics insights, and usability testing results. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects, interaction design, motion design, or product design work.

Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools. Good understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design principles. Experience designing interactive user experiences and modern digital interfaces.

Familiarity with gamified UX design, onboarding flows, engagement design, and behavioural UX concepts. Understanding of micro-interactions, motion design, and interactive interface patterns. Experience with animation and motion tools such as Framer, Principle, Rive, Lottie, or After Effects is an advantage.

Familiarity with dashboard design and data visualisation concepts is preferred. Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React is a plus. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving ability.

No specific degree is required for this role. We value practical skills, creativity, execution capability, and portfolio strength over formal educational qualifications. Preferred Qualities Strong communication and collaboration skills.
