Technical Sales Representative (Midlands) Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission + Company Car Location: Field-Based (Midlands Region) Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends The Opportunity We are working in partnership with a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business to support the hire of a Technical Sales Representative across the Midlands region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a technical mindset to join a market leader known for precision, innovation, and product quality. The role offers a strong blend of account management and new business development, with the autonomy to manage your own territory while being supported by a highly experienced internal team. The Role As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing business across your region by building strong customer relationships and delivering tailored technical solutions. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing existing customer accounts within your territory Identifying and converting new business opportunities across engineering and manufacturing clients Visiting customers on-site to understand requirements and present suitable solutions Providing technical guidance and product expertise across a specialist product range Generating and qualifying leads, working closely with internal technical specialists Preparing and presenting quotations, negotiating terms, and closing sales Maintaining accurate records using CRM and internal systems Supporting product demonstrations, exhibitions, and industry events Collaborating with internal teams including Sales, Technical, and Finance to ensure a high level of customer service Responding to customer queries around pricing, availability, and product capability About You We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with technical understanding and a proactive approach to sales. You will ideally have: Experience within a Technical Sales or Field Sales role A background in engineering, manufacturing, metrology, or a related technical environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills The ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions A self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own territory Good organisational and time management skills A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region Why Apply?
