Job Description The Technical Sales Manager, International TacCIS is responsible for promoting and selling our Tactical Communication and Information Systems (TacCIS) products and services internationally. This position will connect with prospective and existing customers and partners to understand complex technical challenges, articulate the value of our solutions, and close high‑value deals.

The role demands a deep grasp of technology, the ability to translate technical features into business benefits, and a relentless drive to meet or exceed revenue targets. Responsibilities Serve as a subject‑matter expert to the Business Development team with an understanding of competitive positioning and industry trends. Collaborate with end users, customers, and partners to capture technical requirements, validate potential solutions, and bridge the gap between user needs and technical implementation, building a strong network aligned with strategic vision.

Design and deliver product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and technical presentations that address end‑user/customer needs. Support proposal development and pricing models in partnership with the product and pricing teams. Work closely with product management, engineering, Business Development, Customer teams, and partners to ensure solutions are feasible, correctly scoped, and delivered as promised.

Act as an escalation point for technical issues post‑sale, ensuring a smooth hand‑off to the execution team and fostering long‑term relationships for upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Capture market intelligence on competitor activity, emerging technologies, and customer feedback, feeding insights back into product and business development teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years in B2B technical sales or solutions engineering.

Strong grasp of defense industry technologies (AI/ML, cybersecurity, networking, cloud) and the ability to conduct system architecture reviews and translate specifications into business value. Solution selling methodology experience, including negotiation and contract management. Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities.

High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders. Self‑starter with strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites, trade shows, and conferences.

Experience with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred. Security and Eligibility It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems‑Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security‑assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.

Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada. Additional Information The hiring range for this position is $130,000–$165,000.

This role is also eligible for a management incentive plan.
