Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Technical Business Analyst an d provide support and assistance to the Project Management Office within the Information Technology organization. This position will support technology initiatives the PMO manages, identifying and delivering strategic business solutions that enhance overall Information Technology portfolio and maximize value to the agency. This resource will participate in business process and technology initiatives to improve business performance; define portfolios of dependent services and technical needs; and develop business process models and draft the associated documentation.

The Technical Business Analyst will be involved with projects that may vary in scope and size, from smaller short-term "PMO Lite" type of projects such as software upgrades, to larger capital projects and programs that may span several years and have budgets frequently more than $1 million. This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Portland, OR with onsite 1 - 2 days per week for the first 3 - 6 months, and then remote eligible.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is between $60.00 and $65.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in information/computer technology, Business Systems, computer technology or a related technical field is preferred. 8 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree in applicable fields. 10 years of experience is required with an associate's degree in applicable fields. 12 years of experience is required without a degree or an applicable degree. Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Business Systems Analysis and information technology and progressively more technical in nature.

Experience with custom development and commercial package implementation projects. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Demonstrated technical interviewing skills to facilitate user groups through process design and requirements gathering sessions. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to present information in various forms, including visually Valid U.S.

Driver's License or RealID is required. Preferred Skills: Experience with energy/utility sector projects. Experience with Traditional/Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Proficiency with requirements modeling tools such as Jama.
