Opportunity PCS is a growing practice within FSO and offers a diverse portfolio of challenging tax planning and compliance projects.
As a key point of contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues, you will work cross‑border and cross‑functionally to deliver high‑quality service. You will receive support that builds both your technical tax knowledge and professional leadership skills. Your Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual tax returns, income tax planning, and advising for high‑net‑worth individuals and families to develop into a trusted advisor role.
Collaborate with specialists in International tax, state and local tax, and asset management to deliver comprehensive solutions. Skills and Attributes for Success High‑quality preparation and review of complex tax returns. Experience handling hedge fund and private equity K‑1s.
Research tax issues with a team to develop effective tax planning strategies and translate complex data into client‑ready insights. Build effective long‑term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs. Maintain reputation in the field by continuously updating and sharing technical knowledge.
Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with significant tax or financial planning experience. Progression toward CPA, Enrolled Agent, or licensed Attorney required.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization. Thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning. Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax.
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills; confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders. Understanding of automated tax processing systems and relevant laws. Preferred Experience Proven record in high‑net‑worth tax planning.
Proven record in a professional services environment. Experience juggling multiple teams and prioritizing workload. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What We Offer A comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salary ranges from $76,000 to $125,300 (U.S.) and $91,900 to $142,400 for selected metro areas. Medical, dental, pension, and 401(k) plans; generous paid time off and flexible vacation policy. Hybrid work model: most client‑serving roles work together in person 60% of the time over a project or year.
