SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Responsibilities Supporting a high number of application flows in an enterprise environment, providing a cloud‑like experience for developers, especially key trading application platforms and wealth‑management systems. Analyzing the infrastructure requirements for enterprise business applications and providing the required capacity, tooling and application support for production environments. Addressing L2 and L3 escalations, running outage bridges, and managing ITIL processes including change management, incident management and problem management.

Driving migration projects and hygiene projects, collaborating with partner teams to achieve the goal. Implementing process improvements, automation and scripting. Providing technical training to junior members and users.

Qualifications Over 8 years of experience in enterprise‑level webhosting and/or load balancing environments. Deep understanding of Apache and Tomcat web hosting products. Strong knowledge of WebSphere, Lightstreamer and load balancing.

Strong knowledge of internet and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS. Strong understanding of security protocols, e.g. SSL/TLS, Kerberos.

Comfortable with Linux system administration. Knowledge of ITIL (change management, incident management and problem management). Leadership and management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and high‑pressure situations for outage handling, management or resolution.

Effective communication skills with various user groups (developers, engineers) as well as remote team members. Familiarity with at least one scripting language: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Shell. A drive to learn about new technologies and techniques, and a desire to be an integral member of the team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
