Key Responsibilities: Lead supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and material availability performance across key commodities Coordinate daily shortage management, expediting, and material flow activities with cross-functional teams Analyze supplier capacity, constraints, and performance trends to drive improvement initiatives Identify and execute alternate manufacturing pathways, including new suppliers or processes Conduct supplier visits to assess capabilities, validate recovery plans, and support performance improvements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 8-10+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or materials management Proven track record improving supplier delivery performance in complex manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, casting, forging, injection molding, assembly, etc.) Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms Willingness to travel locally in the Chicagoland area up to 30% Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
