Structural Engineer – Structural Steel Huddersfield, UK Permanent | Up to £60,000 + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a well-established structural steel fabrication business delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. This is a hands-on design and engineering role working closely with fabrication, detailing, and project teams to deliver practical, buildable steel solutions from concept through to manufacture and erection. This position requires previous experience working within or alongside a structural steel fabricator, with a strong understanding of how designs translate into fabrication and site installation.

What you’ll do: Produce structural steel designs, calculations, and detailed engineering solutions for a range of projects Work closely with fabrication and design teams to ensure all designs are practical, efficient, and buildable Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop structural steel concepts and connection designs ✔ Carry out design checks and ensure compliance with relevant UK standards and Eurocodes
