Responsibilities Oversee, manage and maximize the entire business operations of an assigned Sprouts store and all of its related departments, including Produce, Bakery, Deli, Meat, Dairy, Frozen Foods, Vitamins, Beer/Wine, Bulk Foods, and all other areas.

Ensure efficient and profitable operations of the store, including cleanliness, safety and a well‑stocked inventory. Accountable for profits and losses, hiring and termination of employees, disciplinary actions, team member training and development, inventory, sales promotion execution and merchandising. Manage staff issues, department managers, customer complaints, community relations, compliance with store policies and other administrative duties.

Qualifications 1–3 years of retail management experience. Degree in business, management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, liberal arts, or related field preferred. Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and varying store assignments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to give direction while working in a team environment. Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, engaging with customers. Experience managing department staff: interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, scheduling, counseling and terminating.

Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff, with working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals. Ability to deal with emergencies, crises and daily incidents, and to write reports for accidents or incidents involving employees or customers. Strong focus on detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills; coordinate sales promotion activities and supervise merchandise displays and advertising copy.

Strong focus on food safety and sanitation, ensuring product dates are checked and expired items are removed regularly. Hold a valid Food Safety certification and maintain compliance with federal, state and company regulations, including OSHA requirements. Strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

Physical ability to lift moderately heavy loads up to 75 lbs., and to bend, reach, kneel, squat and stand for extended periods.
