AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development: recruit, supervise, schedule, train, and develop store personnel. Assume responsibility for store operations and the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager. Motivate employees to excel and enhance productivity.
Communication & Customer Engagement: ensure clear communication within the team, follow up on tasks, provide timely updates, and address customer concerns professionally. Operational Excellence & Safety Compliance: conduct and review all opening and closing procedures; manage emergency situations; monitor risk & safety; ensure PPE compliance. Sales & Performance Metrics: drive WOW!
Customer Service, maintain sales productivity, store appearance, merchandising excellence; monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control; analyze and reconcile Profit & Loss statements. Process & Team Collaboration: delegate merchandising tasks efficiently; provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations; foster a culture of success. Qualifications Basic automotive parts knowledge.
Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills. Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Thrives in fast-paced environments while driving operational excellence and team engagement.
Capable of fostering a positive work culture focused on development and results. Proficient in managing, analyzing, and reconciling Profit & Loss statements. Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise with attention to safety and accuracy.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise. You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
