Responsibilities As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Providing high‑quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Qualifications and Skills A relevant nursing qualification NMC registration Strong teamwork skills A high level of self‑motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and natural caring and compassion A commitment to high‑quality care and to values and evidence‑based practice Location Everest Road, Atherton, Manchester, M46 9NT You will be working at The Spinney, a service which offers a range of care settings for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness. The purpose‑built medium, low secure and rehabilitation wards, as well as a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) are all set within an 11‑acre site with extensive woodland and landscaped areas.

You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team at The Spinney who have previously been recognised by the Association of Psychological Therapies (APT) for their ability to reinforce positive behaviour, prevention of challenging behaviour and successful interventions in a secure care setting.
