This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote). Office Location: Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd) Summary Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Software Development Manager to join our dynamic Application Services Team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity reporting to the Vice President of Applications and Security Services.

This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining a variety of applications to support Lifemark’s national operations. You will lead a large team of developers while overseeing the full application lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed and solutions are scalable, secure, and user focused. You will play a key role in architecting and optimizing systems, collaborating across departments, and managing vendors, technical design, and integrations.

Your Success Measures Strategic Leadership: Manage the development and maintenance of Lifemark’s websites and enterprise applications, providing technical leadership, oversight, and execution. Team Management: Effectively plan, organize, prioritize, and delegate work assignments; oversee team results for quality, timely delivery, and adherence to policies and procedures. Architecture & Development: Provide guidance on application architecture, UI/UX, database design, and system integration with back‑end applications.

Project Execution: Lead and support concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, schedules, and quality standards. Vendor Collaboration: Manage relationships with third‑party agencies and technology vendors to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Continuous Improvement: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to meet business needs and continuously enhance development practices and tools.

Cross‑Functional Engagement: Build strong relationships across departments to align technology solutions with business objectives and ensure operational efficiency. Your Skills and Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in software/application development (with leadership experience preferred) Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, development methodologies, and system architecture Proficient in .NET development and relational database technologies Proven cloud experience (Azure preferred) Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects in parallel Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written Strong time‑management and organizational skills Ability to establish and meet project schedules Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional matrix teams Exceptional project and account management skills Up to date with industry trends and development best practices A collaborative mindset and proven team leadership experience Passionate about delivering high‑quality software and continuous improvement Our Perks You will be issued a company laptop, headset and a home office monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
