The Traffic Engineering team is looking for a talented and passionate Software Development Engineer to play a critical role in building Amazon's next‑gen data lakes and cloud networking fabric that will help drive innovation at Amazon.

In addition, he/she contributes elegant, practical code with Generative AI that solves the most difficult problems at Amazon scale. There are no limits to the contribution and impact this role can have, so get ready to make history! 5+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. 4+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience. Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience. 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
