Site Mechanical Engineer for Transportation

Drive mechanical design excellence in transportation projects as a Site Mechanical Engineer in Toronto, Ontario. You'll oversee site engineering services and ensure all installations meet design specifications and codes. WSP is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7-10 years of relevant experience.

You'll act as WSP’s representative during construction phases, leading the implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Your responsibilities include regular site visits, responding to shop drawings, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver mechanical design services for transportation projects • Act as liaison during construction, supporting all teams • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance • Review RFIs, shop drawings, and proposed changes • Mentor junior engineers and EITs for team development Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • P.Eng. registration with PEO • 7–10 years of relevant mechanical design experience • Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes • Experience with construction administration and field engineering Contribute your expertise in mechanical systems and thrive in an active construction environment at WSP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
