Setting Out Engineer – RC Frame / Concrete Structures Aston, Birmingham Day Rate or PAYE available - £300-£350/day We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor working on major reinforced concrete frame projects within the UK construction sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile stadium redevelopment scheme in Birmingham, delivering complex structural works in a fast-paced site environment. Key Responsibilities: Setting out for reinforced concrete frames and structural works Working closely with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors Ensuring accuracy of all dimensional control on site Interpreting technical drawings and construction information Carrying out as-built surveys and QA checks Supporting delivery of works to programme and specification Requirements: Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within RC frame / concrete structures Strong understanding of construction drawings and surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.) Previous experience on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects Excellent attention to detail and site coordination skills Must hold the right to work in the UK This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a landmark project within a highly respected specialist contractor, offering long-term progression and exposure to complex structural delivery.
