Service Engineer

We are hiring for the role of Specialist Engineer Service (Production Printing) for candidates with 2 to 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in a technical discipline or be 12th pass with a Diploma in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Printing Technology, or related fields. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-end laser production printing systems, including both colour and mono machines, across Graphic Arts, Copy Shop, and Transactional printing environments.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance and delivering excellent customer support. Key responsibilities include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, resolving complex technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and OEM technical support, maintaining accurate service records, adhering to defined SLAs, and ensuring maximum equipment uptime. The engineer will also be expected to deliver timely and effective service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have relevant experience in the production printing or printing solutions industry, along with hands-on expertise in installation and servicing of high-end laser production printers. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, exposure to Graphic Arts and transactional printing workflows, good communication abilities, and customer-handling skills are essential for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with production printing OEMs or authorized service partners and possess knowledge of both colour and mono production engines.

The role requires the ability to work independently in a field-service environment and willingness to travel as per customer and service requirements.
