SEO Manager โ Travel Marketing Agency Location: Manchester (Hybrid โ 1 day per week in office) Salary: Up to ยฃ50,000 per annum Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Reporting to: Head of Digital About U sWe are a growing digital marketing agency specialising in the travel and tourism sector. Our clients range from tour operators and destination marketing organisations to travel technology providers, hospitality brands and online travel businesses. We combine data-driven strategy, creative content and technical expertise to help clients increase visibility, bookings and revenue .Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead organic search strategy across a portfolio of travel-sector clients .
The Ro leAs SEO Manager, you will take ownership of SEO performance across multiple client accounts, developing and implementing strategies that drive measurable business growth. You will work closely with content, paid media, development and client services teams to ensure SEO is integrated throughout our clients' digital marketing activit y.This is a hybrid role, with one day per week spent in our Manchester office and the remainder worked remotel y. Key Responsibilit iesSEO Strat egyDevelop and deliver SEO strategies tailored to individual client objectiv es.Identify opportunities to increase organic traffic, visibility, leads and bookin gs.Conduct technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of recommendatio ns.Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and industry developmen ts.
Technical SEOManage site audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture and performa nce.Work with developers to resolve technical SEO iss ues.Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and website performa nce.Ensure best practice implementation across client websi tes. Content & Trave l SEOLead keyword research and content planning initiat ives.Develop content strategies targeting destinations, travel experiences and commercial search opportuni ties.Support content teams with SEO briefs and optimisation recommendat ions.Identify seasonal and emerging travel search tr ends. Reporting & Ana lyticsTrack and report on key SEO KPIs including rankings, traffic, conversions and re venue.Use GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio and leading SEO platforms to provide actionable ins ights.Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to cl ients.
Client Man agementAct as the lead SEO contact for assigned c lients.Build strong client relationships through regular communication and strategic consul tation.Lead SEO discussions during review meetings and planning se ssions.Support new business opportunities with audits, proposals and pitch present ations. Skills & Ex perienceE ssentialMinimum 3 years' experience in SEO, preferably within an agency envi ronment.Strong technical SEO ex pertise.Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simulta neously.Excellent knowl edge of:Google Ana lytics 4Google Search ConsoleScream ing FrogAhrefs and/or SemrushLooke r StudioStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. DesirableExperience working with travel, tourism, hospitality or leisur e brands.Understanding of internati onal SEO.Experience with digital PR and authority-building c ampaigns.Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO and content w orkflows.Experience mentoring junior team members.
