As part of a broader transformation, the organization is centralizing its Finance & Accounting operations into its Deerfield office, creating new opportunities for tax professionals to join a growing team.
Position Overview The Senior Tax Analyst will support U.S. tax compliance and reporting, with a strong emphasis on domestic corporate and state income tax . This role is ideal for a 5+ year tax professional coming from public accounting or industry who is looking to join a collaborative, high-performing tax team. The position offers exposure to federal and state compliance, tax provision support, audit coordination, and tax planning initiatives within a large, complex organization.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and support U.S. federal and state income tax compliance Calculate and document Schedule M adjustments Prepare estimated tax payments and extensions Analyze and compile state apportionment data Reconcile book-to-tax differences and maintain tax basis balance sheets Support preparation and review of tax returns using tax software systems Assist with tax provision work and rate reconciliations Support federal and state tax audits, including gathering and coordinating documentation Research tax issues and assist with tax planning opportunities Partner with cross-functional finance teams to gather data and ensure accurate reporting Maintain relationships with external auditors, advisors, and tax authorities Support process improvements and leverage technology to enhance tax operations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of tax experience (public accounting or industry) Strong experience in U.S. corporate and state income tax (domestic focus required) CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred Experience with tax systems such as OneSource or similar platforms is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment Why This Opportunity Strong entry point into a large, global tax function High visibility and collaboration across multiple finance teams Exposure to complex, multi-entity tax structures Hybrid flexibility with a modernized office environment Stable organization with long-term growth and development opportunities
