The right team is more than an advantage, it’s a game changer! Come work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at the San Diego office. The ideal candidate is a licensed Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

This individual will have solid experience in the design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood buildings, both in new and existing construction. We are looking for an individual with experience managing and mentoring teams of engineers and designers to exceed their client’s expectations and ensure successful, on-time and on-budget projects. Compensation and Benefits Expected Base Salary: $120,000.00 to $160,000.00 , depending on education, experience, and licensure.

Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate. Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance. Hybrid work schedule (subject to change). 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform project management duties and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects. Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings. Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.

Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design. Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications. Manage profitability of projects and maintain a working relationship with clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Experience with structural computer analysis software systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Experience with the latest release of Autodesk Revit design tools.

Ability to build and maintain a strong team of professionals and support staff within a cooperative multidiscipline office performing at a high level of satisfaction to clients. Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities. Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comfortable consulting to architectural practices. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with the structural design of buildings or similar structures.

Licensed California Civil (PE) required. Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
