Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Backend Engineer will help build the communication platforms, APIs, and middleware that power a growing ecosystem of connected devices. Responsibilities Build backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js. Design and develop REST and GraphQL APIs.

Create scalable middleware that enables communication between software and connected devices. Develop cloud-native solutions within AWS environments. Contribute to distributed-systems architecture and platform design.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software performance, maintainability, and code reuse. Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js. Experience building backend services, APIs, and microservices. Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and reactive systems.

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, CI/CD, and version control. Preferred Experience AWS Serverless Architecture.

IoT, device communication, networking, automation, industrial technology, or hardware-connected software environments. Location Hybrid role for candidates located in the greater Chicago area. Compensation Base salary around $140,000 plus profit sharing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
