Senior Software Development Engineer in Test The Client This organisation is building a next-generation payments platform designed to enable instant, high-value global transactions by combining modern digital asset infrastructure with the reliability of traditional financial systems. The Role This is a senior, high-impact position working closely with executive leadership and a small team of experienced engineers. You will take ownership of testing strategy, quality standards, and deployment reliability across both mobile and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain end-to-end testing frameworks for React Native applications and Node.js services Develop robust test environments that replicate real-world conditions, including latency, offline scenarios, and diverse device performance Leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted testing, to expand test coverage and identify edge cases Optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure releases Contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance systems handling sensitive financial transactions Uphold high standards of code quality through testing, review, and clean architecture Required Experience Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js Proven experience with React Native (Expo experience advantageous) Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Detox, or Maestro Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, CircleCI) Deep understanding of performance, reliability, and testing beyond functional requirements Ability to troubleshoot across the full technology stack Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment Experience in fintech or blockchain ecosystems (e.g. payments integrations or digital asset infrastructure) Previous experience in early-stage startups with significant ownership Experience establishing QA processes and frameworks from the ground up #J-18808-Ljbffr
