This is an opportunity to contribute from day one in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working on systems that must meet high standards for security, accessibility, and service quality. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails Write clean, testable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality digital services Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and team mentoring Ensure solutions align with public sector standards for security and accessibility Key Requirements Strong experience as a Senior Ruby Developer (Ruby on Rails) Proven experience working with TDD Experience within UK government or public sector environments Strong communication skills and ability to integrate into established teams Ability to start and interview at short notice Additional Information SC clearance (active or eligible) required Initial 3-month contract starting ASAP Travel to a UK hub once per month (London, Leeds, or Sheffield) Apply now for immediate consideration
