To knowmore about us, please visit Marriott Tech Accelerator careers page Role Title: Senior Quality Engineer I Position ID : 2026_1597 Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SDET to join our quality engineering team.

This role requires strong experience in test automation, microservices testing, and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on expertise with tools like TOSCA and Postman, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. Candidate will work across multiple products & engineering teams to deliver incremental value against Loyalty Platform roadmap.

Perform research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of applications to meet current and future user requirements. Help develop proof-of-concept implementations to help evaluate cutting-edge technology to drive and meet Marriott business & technology objectives. Candidate must have the ability to communicate upward to superiors and laterally to other departments.

Job Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test frameworks forSalesforce applications, including UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Develop and execute automated tests formicroservices-based architectures, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. UtilizeTOSCAfor model-based test automation, including test case design, execution, and maintenance.

PerformAPI testingusingPostman, validating service contracts, data flows, and integration points. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA analysts to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools likeJenkins,GitHub Actions, orAzure DevOps.

Monitor test execution, analyze failures, and provide actionable feedback to development teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skill and Experience: 4 + yearsof experience in software testing and automation.

Hands-on experience withSalesforce testing, including declarative and programmatic components. Strong understanding ofmicroservices architectureand testing strategies for distributed systems. Proficiency inTOSCAfor test automation and test data management.

Experience withPostmanfor API testing and automation. Proficiency in programming languages such asJava, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with test automation tools likeSelenium, Cypress, TestNG, andJMeter.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality.
