Position Senior Piping Designer for the Conshohocken, PA / Cary, NC / Indianapolis, IN / Cincinnati, OH office area. This is a remote or hybrid role with projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with the drafting/design effort on projects under supervision of Department Manager and leading a group of designers on small/large capital projects Ability to perform project metrics/evaluations on performance goals/schedule goals within a specific project or tasks Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal Review vendor drawings and contribute to piping engineering design and design estimates Mentor other professionals, helping the team grow and develop their skills Qualifications Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree preferable; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree At least 8+ years of piping design experience Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, SmartPlant 3D, Navisworks and Revizto Interacts with internal and client personnel Site work and periodic travel required Preferred qualifications Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Display ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Benefits and compensation The health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and the things you care about: medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off (allocated plans start date 17 days per calendar year), seven paid holidays, caregiver leave, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount, as well as legally mandated benefits. The base salary range for this position is $105,700.00 to $180,000.00, though pay will be hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
