Job Description
Basic Qualifications Experience creating 3D designs in CREO or equivalent Knowledge of ASME Y14.5, including GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analyses Familiarity with a manufacturing floor for electromechanical assemblies, assembly step sequencing, and troubleshooting Active Secret clearance Responsibilities Work closely with engineers, manufacturing, and technical management to provide integration, design, and technical solutions for payload structures, thermal products, and integration of mechanical, propulsion, electrical, and RF components Independently develop and provide mechanical design solutions of varying complexity, using solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering work products via Creo Parametric software Independently review requirements from various sources (instrumentation, dynamics, stress, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure applicable requirements are flowed into the design of assigned products Provide frequent interaction and collaboration with program leadership, analysts, peers, configuration management, and manufacturing to ensure program requirements and schedules are met Drive the completion of program achievements by releasing accurate, error‑free, affordable, and producible engineering designs Desired Skills Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines (systems engineering, electronics, stress/thermal analysis, configuration management, production, test, quality, etc.) Systems‑level knowledge of stress, propulsion, and materials Experience with CPE (Certified Professional Engineer) and MRB (Manufacturing Review Board) Experience with flight hardware and ground support equipment design Hands‑on hardware experience Additive manufacturing experience Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Familiarity with Basis of Estimates (BOE) Employment Type Onsite full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in King of Prussia, PA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
