Senior Manager, Marketing Operations
Equiton
Job Description
As the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations at Equiton, you'll own the marketing technology infrastructure that powers a leading private real estate investment firm across multiple business units. This is not a campaign execution role. You'll architect and maintain the integrations, automations, and data pipelines that connect marketing activity to revenue.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you'll operate at the intersection of marketing, sales, and technology with full ownership of how data flows, how leads are managed, and how performance is measured. You will also partner closely with IT/Technology to ensure scalable, secure, and future‑ready systems. Key Responsibilities Recommend and execute the end-to-end marketing technology stack; selection, integration, maintenance, and optimization across CRM, automation, attribution, and analytics platforms.
Build and maintain API-level integrations between platforms to ensure clean, real-time data flow with minimal manual intervention. Design and optimize automation workflows for lead routing, scoring, lifecycle management, and cross-platform data syncs. Manage call and form tracking infrastructure to ensure accurate lead source attribution across all channels.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate operational workflows, automate reporting, and solve non-standard integration problems. Conduct regular technology audits and recommend stack improvements with a bias toward reducing manual work and increasing data reliability. Partner closely with IT/Technology teams to align on infrastructure, integrations, security, and data governance standards.
Campaign Operations Partner with the digital marketing team on campaign infrastructure — tracking architecture, automation triggers, QA, and attribution setup. Maintain CRM data integrity through ongoing hygiene: deduplication, field standardization, record lifecycle management. Reporting & Analytics Query and transform marketing and lead data directly from databases to build analyses that go beyond surface-level dashboards.
Build and maintain reporting infrastructure that monitors campaign performance, lead flow, cost efficiency, and multi-touch attribution. Produce weekly and monthly reports on marketing KPIs and present findings with clear, actionable recommendations that can be shared with senior leadership. Attribute leads across paid, organic, and offline channels with a clear line of sight to marketing's revenue impact.
Identify trends and translate them into data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization and budget allocation. Accountability The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations is accountable for the reliability and performance of Equiton's marketing operations framework. Gaps in this role directly impact lead quality, attribution accuracy, campaign performance, and regulatory compliance — all with downstream revenue consequences.
Leadership & Coordination This role coordinates closely with marketing, sales, compliance, IT/Technology teams, and external vendors. You won't manage direct reports, but you'll be expected to set and enforce standards across teams on data governance, workflow design, and campaign processes. Communication Frequent cross‑functional collaboration via written (email, Slack, documentation) and verbal (meetings, presentations) channels.
You'll present performance metrics and operational recommendations to senior management regularly. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and proven hands‑on experience. 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations or marketing technology, with a track record of owning and optimizing a full marketing technology stack end-to-end. A track record of owning and optimizing a marketing technology stack end-to-end, not just operating within one.
Deep, hands‑on experience managing and optimizing complex marketing technology stacks, not just using tools, but integrating them at the API level. Strong database querying skills with the ability to extract, join, and analyze data across systems independently. Proven ability to design multi‑step automations and integration workflows that reduce manual processes at scale.
Experience building and maintaining attribution models across paid, organic, and offline channels. Comfortable working with AI‑assisted tools and emerging technology to solve operational problems. Strong data management discipline; you treat CRM hygiene and data accuracy as non‑negotiable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical operations into business impact for non‑technical stakeholders. Working knowledge of CASL, GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, and data privacy best practices. Operational‑level familiarity with paid media platforms and web analytics.
Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools. Basic scripting ability for automation and data transformation. Experience in financial services, real estate, or regulated industries an asset.
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $120,000 plus discretionary bonuses. The actual base salary offered will take into consideration factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, and relevant education or training.
