Senior Java Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role involves developing, enhancing, and testing complex software applications for key business functions. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned technical resource, participating in the design and implementation of solutions using diverse development platforms and new technologies. This position involves working under minimal supervision with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications Requirements 7-8 years of professional experience Proficiency in Enterprise Java with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate Experience with Kafka Strong knowledge of Core Java Ability to work under minimal supervision Pay range: $55.07 - $63.07 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
