Cultivating Integrity Be empathetic Key Responsibilities for Infrastructure Engineer / Network Engineer: Oversee, manage and optimise VMware data centre infrastructure, including virtual networks, compute, and storage solutions Implement, support and manage network and security technologies Diagnose and resolve complex network and virtualisation issues Interact with vendors for support escalations Continuously monitor network and infrastructure performance Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all configurations and procedures Skills and experience for Infrastructure Engineer / Network Engineer: Essential: Proficiency in managing and optimising VMware data centre infrastructure, including virtual networks, compute, and storage solutions. Experience with managing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions. Extensive knowledge in configuring and managing firewalls, routers and switches. Advanced knowledge and understanding of networking, including TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, port aggregation, load balancing, VPNs and wireless technologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Desirable: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architectures Knowledge if Cisco ACL, Firepower, ISE, Unified Computing Systems (UCS) Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls Knowledge of Veeam and Zerto data resiliency platforms Understanding of ITIL practices Desirable Certifications: Cisco CCNA VMWare VCP Cisco Unified Computing System (DCCUCS) Microsoft Certifications such as: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Security Operations Analyst Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate Why Stridon?
