Job Description We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Design team based in Speke, Liverpool or Wymondham. Kier Design is a top‑25 engineering consultancy delivering a wide range of services across all sectors of the built environment, with construction‑focused, innovative, and sustainable solutions. We have preferential access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline, including mega projects like High Speed 2 and Hinkley Point C, frameworks with national and local government and other public bodies, and a range of other interesting projects in every sector of the built environment.

Hours: 37.5 per week, with flexibility where needed.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to candidates in this role. Responsibilities Lead structural design projects and mentor junior team members. Produce and check structural design calculations, drawings, models, reports, specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate design information within the structural team and across disciplines such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Building Services. Act as lead structural designer on major building projects. Conduct site surveys and inspections, and represent the structural team at project meetings.
Qualifications A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng). Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, UK construction techniques, and Building Regulations. Experience in site inspections and identifying structural defects.
