In this impactful role, you will provide leadership and direction, actively embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend. Job Description As Senior Cost Manager , you will be involved in: Lead the architectural, civil and structural post‑contract cost control of several design packages Take ownership of change control and advise stakeholders on funding whether in‑budget, contingency, risk or escalation Undertake tender reviews for governance, contractual and budget alignment Participate in programme‑wide periodic cash flow forecasts, adapting to dynamic schedules and scope Participate in person in meetings with the client and various other stakeholders Provide periodic cost / project reports incorporating estimates at completion, early warnings, cashflows and variance tracking Support the Project Manager in risk reviews and risk quantification Support the preparation and management of cost estimates, value engineering and cost planning across all project phases Act as the primary client liaison for all cost‑related matters Mentor and support junior cost consultants and project team members Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cost management A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with Canadian equivalency if obtained outside Canada (WES etc.) Membership of relevant professional organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) or similar Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it quickly Demonstrated experience on at least two projects that have a total value of $100M+ Differentiators Ability to provide expert advice on life‑cycle costing, benchmarking, and sustainability Demonstrated contribution to business management, business development and client relationship management Knowledge of and experience using CostX Knowledge of and experience using Revit Benefits 100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services) Health spending account, to top up expenses not covered in the benefits program RRSP option with company matching Annual learning and development budget Access to a range of online learning tools and support for career development and growth Coverage of one professional membership or license fee per year, if directly related to your role Work‑life balance with vacation, flex and sick days Flexible, hybrid work approach that allows colleagues to find balance between professional and personal lives Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging The base salary range for this full‑time role is $90,000 - $140,000 per year.
Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
