Senior Business Analyst (payroll projects)

We’re working with a large, well-established organisation undergoing a major transformation across its finance and payroll systems. They are looking to hire a Senior IT Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering high-impact initiatives, including a payroll system migration and end-to-end process improvement programme. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and can bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) What You’ll Be Doing Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications Lead process mapping and process improvement initiatives (current vs future state, workflows, data flows) Apply formal process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, SIPOC) to drive efficiency and standardisation Work closely with stakeholders across finance, payroll, operations, and IT Support key transformation projects, including payroll system migration and process redesign Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful delivery Contribute to UAT, change management, and stakeholder adoption What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex, process-driven environments Strong background in process mapping and formal process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, SIPOC, BPMN) Experience working with finance, accounting, or payroll-related systems/processes Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable requirements Experience working across cross-functional teams (business + IT) Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with operational teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
