Overview Senior Business Analyst (Oracle Financials) We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep functional expertise in Oracle ERP Fusion Financials, specifically Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and Cost Management, to support and evolve an integrated financial and operational landscape. In this environment, Oracle Fusion Financials serve as the system of record for accounting and financial processing, with upstream transactions originating from CPQ, Order Management, Inventory and Shipping modules. This role requires strong hands-on configuration experience, deep understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and inventory-to-finance flows, along with advanced troubleshooting and cross-team coordination capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials processes across AR, GL and Cost Management, including configuration, accounting flows, reconciliation, and controls. Configure and support Accounts Receivable processes such as customer setups, transactions, receipts, adjustments, credit memos, lockbox and revenue accounting. Lead and support banking and payment integrations, including lockbox configuration and processing, bank file mappings and auto cash rules, credit card authorization, settlement issues, chargeback, and reconciliation discrepancies, coordinating with payment processors, banks, and integration teams.
Support General Ledger setups including chart of accounts, ledgers, accounting configurations, journal processing, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, and period close activities. Provide functional ownership and support for Cost Management, including inventory costing, cost accounting distributions, landed cost impacts, and valuation flows. Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into functional designs, setups, process flows, and integration mappings.
Provide production support, performing root cause analysis for and driving long-term remediation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional Business and IT teams to resolve production issues and support ongoing enhancements. Required Skills & Experience 8โ10+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials experience in AR, GL, and Cost Management.
Upstream Integrations (SCM) โ Strong functional understanding of upstream integrations with Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Shipping/Fulfillment. Ability to analyze integration-driven issues impacting AR, payments, costing, and accounting. Business Analysis & Architecture โ Strong documentation skills including functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and process flows.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion and payment solutions. Integration & Technical Knowledge โ Experience analyzing integration failures, error logs, payment processing errors, and transactional discrepancies across systems. Experience coordinating with integration teams using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of SQL, OTBI, and BI Publisher (BIP) reports.
