Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise production applications and business systems initiatives within a large insurance environment. If you have strong business analysis, production support, stakeholder engagement, and Agile collaboration experienceβ€”this is an exciting opportunity to support enterprise application modernization and operational improvement initiatives. Key Details β€’ Location: Remote within Canada β€’ Contract: June 2026 – June 2027 β€’ Potential Extensions: Two (2) additional 12-month renewal terms Role Overview The Senior Business Analyst will provide production support and business systems analysis services for in-house and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and support groups to analyze issues, gather requirements, support testing activities, and deliver effective business and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities β€’ Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements β€’ Support production applications and resolve business/system issues β€’ Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams β€’ Conduct process analysis, impact assessments, and solution validation β€’ Develop business analysis artifacts, user stories, and documentation β€’ Support testing activities including UAT, test planning, and defect analysis β€’ Participate in Agile sprint planning and backlog refinement activities β€’ Coordinate implementation and communication activities for impacted users Mandatory Qualifications βœ” Certificate or diploma in Business Analysis or related discipline βœ” Minimum five (5) years of related business or systems analysis experience βœ” Experience conducting process analysis, requirements gathering, and data analysis βœ” Experience supporting production support applications and enterprise systems βœ” Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams βœ” Experience supporting COTS and/or in-house applications βœ” Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery environments preferred Rated Skills & Experience Strong leadership and collaboration skills Strategic and tactical planning capabilities Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of: MS Teams, Azure DevOps, Miro, Power BI, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project Exposure to SAFe Agile methodologies or Agile work environments Requirements gathering and documentation skills Business process analysis and validation capabilities Testing and quality assurance support skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing business requirements Application Deadline Please complete your initial application by May 30, 2026 , at 11:00 PM CST .
