Meet Life Sciences is partnering with a stealth neurotechnology company in San Francisco that is developing cutting‑edge brain‑computer interface technology to help restore autonomy and improve quality of life for people living with disabilities. About the Role They are hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to own core accounting operations spanning the monthly close, accounts payable, inventory and purchasing support, and tax compliance helping build an accurate, audit‑ready financial foundation as the company scales toward commercialization. Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaids, and supporting schedules Keep balance sheet reconciliations and documentation audit‑ready, prepare audit schedules, and act as the main accounting point of contact during audits Run AP end‑to‑end: invoice processing, coding, approvals, payment runs, and vendor relationships Support PO workflows with proper three‑way matching (POs, receipts, invoices) Partner with operations and supply chain on inventory accounting and tracking Own the fixed asset register (capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals) and prepaid schedules Manage sales and use tax compliance, including filings and coordination with outside advisors, plus monitoring of taxability and nexus Use NetSuite daily for accounting operations, reporting, and close Help strengthen processes, controls, and documentation as the company grows Support accounting for grant‑funded programs, including cost allowability and audit readiness Qualifications Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month‑end close Solid command of US GAAP Track record managing AP, reconciliations, and core processes in a scaling company Background in life sciences, medtech, technology, or manufacturing Exposure to grant accounting or funded programs is a plus Experience supporting audits and improving processes Detail‑oriented with strong ownership and follow‑through Comfortable on‑site in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Organized, with clean documentation habits Clear communicator who partners well with finance and ops Required Skills Strong operator with NetSuite experience Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment Preferred Skills Experience in life sciences, medtech, technology, or manufacturing Exposure to grant accounting or funded programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
