Hays are working with a local school to recruit a School Finance Business Manager. We are exclusively working with a great local school to recruit a School Finance Business Manager on a permanent contract. The role could be considered as a part-time or full-time arrangement.
Sitting as part of the senior leadership team, this is a key role to help the school ensure that it meets its educational needs. Its a broad role, covering management across finance, administration, HR and facilities management. Provide strategic leadership as part of the SLT, contributing to whole school planning and decision making.
Manage and develop all administrative staff, promoting a strong business ethos across the school. Oversee PFI contract management, facilities, property, and site operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and well maintained environment. Lead on HR processes, management information systems, ICT oversight, and policy development.
Manage insurance, outsourced services, and community lettings. We are looking for someone with a strong background in finance, ideally in a public sector setting, and it would be advantageous to have education experience. This is an on-site role with a minimum expectation of 3 days per week.
