We serve a diverse clientele of commuters, New Yorkers, and visitors every day, offering a curated selection of wines, spirits, and beer that goes well beyond what you'd expect from a station shop. We're known for quality, knowledgeable service, and a genuine love of what we sell.

We're looking for a motivated, personable Sales Associate to join our retail team. If you're curious about wine and spirits, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy connecting with people, this is a great place to build real expertise while being part of a tight-knit team. What You'll Be Doing Engaging customers on the floor with confident, helpful recommendations — from an everyday bottle to something special Building repeat business through genuine relationships and consistent service Staying sharp on our inventory: new arrivals, featured producers, seasonal picks, and promotions Keeping the floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing Supporting in-store tasting events and product launches Working closely with the store manager on purchasing intel — what's moving, what customers are asking for What We're Looking For At least 1 year of retail or sales experience (wine/spirits/hospitality a plus, but not required — we'll teach the right person) Genuine curiosity about wine & spirits with a hospitality focus Strong communication skills and a warm, confident presence with customers Ability to stay focused and efficient during high-traffic periods Reliable, punctual, and a team player Must be 21+ Why Penn Cellars You won't find a more interesting retail environment in the city.
