Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. (https://euforiapasta.com/) is in the process of food processing & manufacturing. It has setup its new factory at Khopoli near Mumbai. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales individual to join our sales team in the food industry. Products currently include pasta and vermicelli, made from 100% durum wheat semolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing & executing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients & retailers and identifying new business opportunities to drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales growth in HoReCa sector (hotels, restaurants, cafes) and institutional B2B channels, targeting revenue increase through new client acquisition and account management Identify and onboard key accounts like hotels, QSRs, caterers, and corporate clients; conduct needs assessments for various products and negotiate contracts. Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, chefs, and decision-makers via field visits (~90% time), presentations and events in areas across major cities in Western part of the country Meeting the revenue and margin targets for the region Driving business development activities of the region Generating sales of company products in the region by being part of a team of salesmen in order to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets Achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews Analysing the sales trend and taking corrective actions wherever necessary To develop & maintain a strong sales infrastructure and aggressive customer service: Executing the strategies of the Regional Sales Managers Appointing the right set of channel partners with appropriate experience, good infrastructure, financially strong and with an attitude to grow To execute control over sales budget, sales forecast, sales plan, etc: Executing the sales plan to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region Meeting area / territory sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements Ensuring adherence to annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions Ensuring that all promotions are within the budget Preparing sales growth blueprint for the future To ensure coordination and relationship management with distributors, customers, as well as other departments: Ensuring that distributors and customers in the region are provided with information about new or improved products and services in order to improve sales in the area Developing and maintaining an efficient distribution network Ensuring commercial hygiene by monitoring damages, complaints etc Liaising with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region To continuously gain and update category & channel expertise: Continuously acquiring knowledge regarding the industry, market construct and customer behaviour to enable effective business plans To coordinate with supply chain and stock control activities: Developing systems for accurate forecasting and ensure follow up with production, logistics and CFA Exercising stock control at customer point, distributor point and CFA Maintaining appropriate stock levels at customer point, distributor point and CFA Ensuring smooth supplies and timely dispatch to distributors from CFA To ensure that sales systems and processes are in place and being used effectively: Developing timely feedback systems on the business Developing systems to monitor customer wise sales Educational Level Graduation: Any specialization in Marketing or Sales Management Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in the food B2B/HoReCa industry. Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 1+ years in B2B/HoReCa sales, preferably in FMCG food supply with established network in hospitality Proven track record achieving monthly/quarterly targets; strong negotiation, objection-handling, and CRM skills Fluency in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi Skills: Knowledge of food trends, FSSC 22000 compliance and supply chain logistics for bulk B2B orders Experience in trade fairs, client events, and competitive analysis to support product development/export pitches Ability to manage collections, optimize margins, and collaborate with production teams on custom orders Excellent communication, effectively selling and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel Proactive individual who is willing to spend time on the ground, ~95% of the time Work Environment and Benefits: Competitive salary package with potential commissions or bonuses based on sales performance, up to Rs.30,000 per month.
