Job Description
Sales Manager Alliance Laundry System LLC Location: US-CA-South Gate Overview The Sales Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining sales of commercial laundry products within our Direct Distribution channel. Key aspects include leading and developing a team of sales representatives within assigned markets, executing resultsâoriented sales strategies, creating and maintaining business relationships with customers, and providing preâ and postâsales support. The Sales Manager will be assigned a territory within their designated region, including North of LA to Orange County.
They will be responsible for growing and maintaining sales in a variety of areas while following Alliance Laundry Systems quality standards, policies and procedures. Territory Southern & Central CA and Southern NV (CA counties: San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Imperial, Inyo, Mono; NV counties: Clark, Lincoln). Responsibilities Lead a team of sales professionals and achieve objectives through effective planning, goal setting, data analysis and future performance projections.
Develop and implement sales strategies that increase sales through previously and newly identified geographies or customers. Implement companyâdirected sales programs, promotions and strategies to achieve volume and profit plans while expanding market penetration. Leverage the full portfolio of solutions to meet customer needs.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with accounts, providing training on product features and benefits, revenueâenhancement opportunities, and general technical support. Stay abreast of competitive activity in the assigned sales territory, gathering feedback to identify emerging market and customer trends and opportunities. Provide cost and profit analysis on all completed sales orders for accurate costing and commission reports.
Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, regional meetings and other events. Qualifications Education: Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field preferred. Experience: 5+ years of work experience in sales or account management with a proven track record of outside sales.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Working knowledge of management software programs, including Salesforce, strongly preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Sales and business acumen; ability to translate technical product information into sales strategy to drive revenue. Ability to understand budget vs. forecast for future sales volumes. Strong analytical skills: able to gather and analyze large amounts of data, identify goals, explore and select solutions, evaluate results, implement change, and report activities to upper management.
Basic mechanical aptitude regarding machinery and equipment. Strong diplomatic skills; ability to handle conflict management and business negotiation processes. Ability to partner and form strong working relationships fostering a problemâsolving approach.
Leadership skills: demonstrates trust and respect for others, builds positive relationships, communicates expectations, and coaches and develops employees for success. Solid organizational skills; can selfâmanage workload and multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills; confident delivering presentations to internal and external customers.
Strong work ethic; selfâstarter, proactive, selfâinitiative, and tenacious. Resilient; able to confidently navigate ambiguity and change. Standard and Physical Requirements Position involves sitting for prolonged periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally. For heavier items, assistive devices will be provided. Must have a valid driverâs license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Compensation For California, Colorado, and Washington, the compensation range for this role is $111,000 to $131,000 plus eligible for commission and/or bonus.
