Microchip USA is a fast-growing technology distributor headquartered in Tampa, FL. We are a crucial supplier for some of the world's largest manufacturers, sourcing and distributing high‑end electronic components like semiconductors, integrated circuits, FPGAs, MCUs, and many more. The job is a full‑cycle sales position.
You will develop a client base by making outbound cold calls, qualifying inbound sales leads, and finding new opportunities as market conditions change. You will give sales presentations to senior‑level executives, engage in complex, high‑value negotiations, and see opportunities through to the finish line. Responsibilities Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients by understanding their needs and proactively addressing questions and concerns. Provide support to clients via phone and email throughout the entire life cycle of a deal to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction. Surpass activity metrics, such as outbound cold calls, emails, and capability presentations, to help reach quarterly sales goals.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments within the company to facilitate and execute a seamless experience for our clients. Stay on top of industry trends by frequently conducting relevant market research. Uphold the company's core values of Excellence, Dedication, and Efficiency.
Some travel may be required. Qualifications / Desired Skills Experience in cold call and/or door‑to‑door sales. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience using a CRM. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
Resourceful, high‑energy, coachable, and open to change. Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese. This is a full‑time, in‑person only position.
Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at our office in Houston. Our ideal candidates are hardworking, always curious, constantly ready to learn, and self‑motivated. You will have key‑card access to start as early as you wish to work European accounts, and you can stay past 5:30 PM to work the West Coast if you choose.
We offer a $50,000 base salary with a lucrative, uncapped commission plan ($100,000 – $125,000+ in year one).
