Job Description
Salary: 140,000 base + OTE (Uncapped, around $250,000 in year 1) A tight-knit financial consultancy in Austin are offering the opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to join the team. Reporting directly to CRO, you will be responsible for managing the existing team, hiring and developing a high-performing sales team, and supporting the company as they scale. The sales team target financial institutions, credit unions and community banks, so experience in this industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Director Oversee and manage the existing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and values. Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members to build a top-performing sales unit. Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
Master the sales tools and platforms, and ensure team members understand and effectively use them. Monitor and enforce the use of these platforms to maintain consistency and efficiency. Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team.
Regularly review team and individual performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities. Hold team members accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Key Requirements of the Sales Director Proven track record of leading a team Previous experience selling consulting services Expertise with PE backed firms is a plus Strong understanding of sales platforms and tools, able to quickly learn and implement new systems.
