Sales Area Vice President, Acute Care About the Company Progressive healthcare technology company Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Sales Area Vice President for Acute Care. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving revenue growth and expanding market share within acute care hospitals and health systems. This pivotal role involves developing strategic relationships, executing complex sales cycles, and delivering value-based solutions to a range of stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and supply chain professionals. The VP will be responsible for key IDN relationships, strategic territory business planning, and ensuring the coordination and leadership of clinical specialists and sales associates to exceed customer expectations. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 7 years' successful healthcare sales experience, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding quotas in complex sales environments. Experience in acute care hospital sales, including navigation of supply chain executives, value analysis committees, GPOs, and distributors, is essential. The role requires strong executive-level relationships, particularly within the supply chain, and the ability to engage healthcare professionals with strong clinical acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to manage the full sales cycle and lead contract negotiations. The VP will also be expected to provide market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and customer success teams.
