About The Role WPS are looking for a Resident Engineer to join our team on a single, static site in central Manchester. This role is ideal for a multiâskilled engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias seeking a stable, wellâstructured position with growth opportunities. Location: Manchester Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am â 5:00pm (breaks included).
No shifts, no callâout rota. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works Faultâfind and maintain mechanical and electrical systems Ensure plant and equipment remain compliant and fully operational Record all works accurately using maintenance systems Support site compliance and health & safety standards Build positive working relationships with the client and wider teams About You Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Multiâskilled with a clear bias (electrical or mechanical) Experience in a commercial building services or static environment Strong faultâfinding and problemâsolving skills Professional, reliable, and able to work independently onâsite Why Join WPS?
