Resident Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a major commercial construction project based in London on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting the delivery phase and ensuring quality and compliance across site operations. Role Responsibilities: Acting as the client’s representative on site Monitoring construction activities and ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders Reviewing technical documentation and resolving site queries Carrying out inspections, reporting progress, and maintaining quality standards Supporting health & safety compliance across the project Requirements: Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer on large commercial projects Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively Excellent reporting and communication skills Relevant engineering qualification preferred Contract Details: Location: London Rate: £50–£55 per hour Contract: Outside IR35 Duration: 6–12 months If you are interested or would like to hear more, please apply with your latest CV for a confidential discussion.
