Reserving Analyst

I'm hiring a Reserving Analyst for one of the largest (re)insurers in the world. This role will involve undertaking quarterly reserving analyses with a focus on specific lines of business for which you will have primary responsibility. These lines of business include: Casualty, Property, Financial Lines, Accident & Health, Tech Risks, Marine, High Net Worth and Specialty Personal Lines.

The role's main responsibilities include: Quarterly reviews of reserves on specified lines of business Contribute to the planning and pricing of the bi annual loss ratio planning processes Support the statutory reporting requirements Possibility to support the annual reserve risk parameterisation process While reserving is the primary purpose of the role, there will be regular opportunities to work with actuarial colleagues in the Pricing, Planning and Capital Modelling teams. I'm looking to speak with actuaries who are undertaking exams. A background in non-life insurance retail or commercial reserving is preferred but not essential.
