Registered Nurse

Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality skilled nursing care to a diverse population of residents and short‑term rehab patients, supporting their recovery, comfort, and overall quality of life. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, social workers, and other nursing staff, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and monitor responses to ensure safe and effective care.

You will perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments, document all care accurately in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with the care team to adjust plans based on patient progress and clinical findings. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care including wound management, IV therapy, rehabilitation support, and pain management, while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You will educate patients and families on care plans, medications, discharge instructions, and strategies to support independence and wellness.
