Job Description
Brightwater Senior Living of Linden Pointe Brightwater Senior Living of Linden Pointe is seeking a knowledgeable Full‑Time Recreation Manager. About the Role Collaborate with and support key team members on development and execution of resident programs and experiences that enhance quality of life for residents and promote strong engagement and fulfil the goals set by Brightwater. Facilitate community involvement through volunteerism and safely transport residents in community bus or another vehicle according to schedule.
Benefits Competitive pay Responsibilities Maintain resident, employee, and community information in strict confidence. Submit all required documents to Home Office in a timely manner. Oversee Social Engagement, including: Complete and maintain activities‑related evaluations on new residents.
Consult residents on activity preferences. Plan and implement a variety of activities, ensuring sufficient frequency and variety. Ensure timely offering of activities or provide alternatives if cancelled.
Maintain an active Ambassadors program. Inform residents of daily activities and lead activities as required. Maintain activities portion of Osborn Visual system.
Instruct other staff members to lead activities with approval. Coordinate Resident Council meetings. Ensure work areas and supply storage areas are clean and organized.
Participate in resident service planning to address needs. Maintain records of resident participation. Work with the team on planning, implementing and monitoring wellness and recreation programs that meet the specific needs of residents.
Oversee Dining Engagement, including: Collaborate with Community Management Team and Dining Team to provide highest standard of dining room service. Support Sales & Marketing Engagement, including: Fill‑in for community tours to prospective residents. Lead response to walk‑in inquiries.
Work with Sales & Marketing team to compile data. Assist in Brightwater event planning, coordination and set‑up. Participate in local community events to promote Brightwater.
Execute move‑in Standard Operating Procedures. Provide support to new residents for orientation. Requirements Effective communication in English, verbal and written.
Maintain any certifications required by state or provincial regulations. Obtain authorization from Brightwater to drive company vehicles. Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to take direction, meet timelines and handle multiple projects. Creative, innovative, and willing to contribute ideas professionally.
Strong work ethic with high integrity. Professional level of knowledge in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe. Positive attitude and ability to work in a team and adapt to changing environments.
