Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $63.00/hr

Position: Sr. React Developer

Duration: 12+ month contract (ext. up to 18 months)

Must-haves (notes directly from manager):

-Converting the front-end stack over to React from HTML, etc

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components in React
• Architect scalable component libraries with a focus on reusability, performance, and accessibility
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive components
• Implement state management solutions (NgRx, Redux, Zustand, or similar) for predictable and maintainable application behavior
• Optimize rendering performance and reduce bundle sizes using advanced code-splitting and lazy-loading techniques
• Write clean, testable code with unit tests (Jest, Jasmine, Karma) and integration tests (Cypress, Playwright)
• Contribute to design systems and document component usage for developer teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with strong expertise in both Angular and React
• Deep understanding of component-driven development and modern UI architecture patterns
• Experience with CSS, SCSS, OOCSS styling methodologies
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and ARIA
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar
• Experience with Bitbucket CI/CD practices
• Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation tools
• Experience contributing to component libraries or design systems in enterprise environments
• Proven accessible component library/design system experience
