Quality Lineside Engineer

Quality Lineside Engineer Chester, UK 12-month contract initially up to £32 per hour Inside IR35 iO Associates is looking for a Quality Lineside Engineer to join a global aerospace leader specialising in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defence, and space sectors. You'll play a key role in supporting quality assurance activities, ensuring products, processes and services meet required standards. Key Responsibilities Provide quality assurance support across products, processes and services.

Review drawings, parts and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Conduct audits and surveillance activities to ensure adherence to quality systems.

Analyse quality data, report findings and present updates to leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and quality concerns. What We're Looking For Experience within a Quality or Engineering role in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving skills (5 Whys, Ishikawa or similar). Confident in analysing data and communicating findings.

Excellent stakeholder management and team collaboration skills.
